Glossary Term:
Geospatial Predictive Analytics

A form of predictive modeling that applies crime data points to maps. For example, the location of future meth labs can be predicted based on the locations of previous labs. Sometimes, the data is represented in a "heat map" type display, using colors to represent data values.
