In the context of the Clery Act, a crime is considered reported when it is brought to the attention of a CSA or local police by a victim. The ED audits institutions to verify CSA compliance with reporting requirements. CSA's can include faculty or staff advisors, resident advisors (RA's), contract security officers, event staff and more.
